High-Performance Surfacing for Pacific Northwest Boats, Docks & DecksSafeFloor NW is Washington and Oregon's authorized installer of SafeFloor — a premium recycled granulated rubber surfacing system that is chemically bonded directly to your boat deck, dock, patio, or any surface that needs to be safer, more durable, and better-looking.
Pacific Northwest boaters know the challenge: rain-slicked decks on Puget Sound, fish slime on Columbia River salmon boats, wet aluminum floors on the coastal halibut runs, and weathered dock boards at marinas from Bellingham to Astoria. SafeFloor eliminates the slip hazard permanently — without the replacement costs of carpet, foam, or gel coat.
Don't keep spending money on flooring you'll replace in a few years. Closed-cell foam cracks. Carpet molds in our wet climate. Spray-in liners lose their grip. SafeFloor is bonded for life and backed by the best warranty in the industry — for as long as you own the boat.

Unrivaled slip resistance - no spray-in liner, carpet, or foam comes close. Critical in the wet Pacific Northwest.
Recycled rubber granules absorb wave shock on rough Puget Sound chops, the Columbia River Bar, and coastal swells - protecting your legs and back on long days on the water.
SafeFloor acts like a muffler, reducing hull noise on all vessel types - especially aluminum boats common throughout the PNW.
Hundreds of custom color combinations. Your boat will look better and be worth more.
Lasts the lifetime of your vessel. No more replacing carpet every few years or worrying about gel coat wearing down.
Hose it down after a salmon trip or pressure-wash after crabbing season. SafeFloor stands up to everything.
Whether you're running salmon on the Puget Sound, chasing halibut off the Washington coast, steelhead fishing on the Deschutes, or duck hunting the Columbia River marshes, SafeFloor NW has you covered.
We install on all vessel types:
Personal and guide watercraft: Lifetime warranty - for as long as you own the boat.
Commercial fishing and charter boats: 10-year warranty.

Every installation is different — the shape, size, and surface condition all affect pricing. That's why we always offer FREE estimates (Request a free estimate →). We'll send an experienced installer to your boat or property to take measurements, evaluate the surface, and give you an exact quote with no obligation.
SafeFloor application requires professional skill and training. It's also very difficult to remove once installed, so getting it right the first time matters. Our trained Pacific Northwest installers handle every job with care and precision.
Most installations take three to four business days depending on weather conditions (especially relevant in the Pacific Northwest!) and any additional prep work needed. We won't release your boat until the curing process is fully underway.
About 3/4 of a pound per square foot. For fiberglass hulls, this has no impact on draft. For aluminum hulls, draft increases by less than 1/2 inch.
Hundreds of colors and custom blends — two, three, or four-color mixes to match your boat's accessories, your team colors, or anything else you can imagine. We bring color samples to your free estimate appointment.
Yes. SafeFloor is chemically bonded to the surface, making it extremely durable and difficult to remove — which is exactly what makes it last a lifetime.
Hose it down after every trip. For heavy-duty cleanup after crabbing, clamming, or a bloody salmon day, a standard pressure washer brings it right back to original condition.
SafeFloor is applied entirely by hand — troweled on in small batches, similar to finishing concrete. No shortcuts, no spray guns — just careful, professional craftsmanship.
